The system gives you visibility into what data you have, how it’s used, and who’s using it, helping you decide what can be moved, archived, or deleted. Key features include scale to hundreds of petabytes and billions of files, rich metadata (tags, age, size, meaning), built-in tools to move data (archiving, replication, migration), and letting end users help manage their own storage.
It is storage-device-agnostic, meaning it works across many NAS systems, HPC file systems, and cloud object stores.
